You have questions and we have answers. One of the most commonly asked questions we get revolves around the different types of button machines and supplies & whether or not they are interchangeable. Basically, you’ll find three kinds of button machines: Industry standard, proprietary and those made outside the USA.
Industry standard button supplies fit 99.9% of all standard-sized button machines. These parts are designed to be used with American made button machines and probably will not fit a foreign made machine and most definitely will not fit a Badge a Minit machine. What does this mean to you if you have an industry standard machine? Well, it means you can purchase supplies from any company that sells industry standard sizes. American Button Machines stocks the widest variety of industry standard button supplies & accessories and we are constantly on the search for new, innovative products.
Hey Button Makers! The big day is finally here so please congratulate fellow button maker Bill Manning – the winner of our first ever Free Button Machine give-away.
Hey Button Makers. We occasionally have callers who ask how to change the blade on their Adjustable Circle Cutter. It’s actually very simple, but we’ve put together this step-by-step tutorial to guide you through the process. You will need a small, flat-head screwdriver and a pair of needle nosed pliers. If you organize anything like me, the screwdriver is in the drawer to the left of the fridge and the pliers are in the garage. We’ll wait while you look for them….
Hey Button makers. Earlier this month I dedicated and entire post to 5 Things to know about Ceramic Magnets. Anybody remember? Of course you do – I knew you would! What better way to wrap up our March Magnets Series than to share “5 Things to know about Peel & Stick Magnets”?
Continuing our March Magnets theme this week I’m sharing with you a few of the differences between American Button Machines (ABM) magnet sets and those of Badge-a-Minit (BAM).
March Magnets Title Fight: ABM vs BAM
If you have been following our button machine giveaway here on our Button Blog and our Facebook Page, then you know we are very close to reaching our goal of 1,500 Facebook likes. There is just about a week to go until the big giveaway and we still need 115 likes to make our goal of 1500. We truly want someone to win and so we’re going to make it even easier.
Last week we began our month long series on March Magnets and focused on our super-strong Ceramic Magnets.
This week we are focusing on customer inquiries and here is one from the frequent flier file. How can I wear a button without putting a hole in my shirt? Or, sweater or coat or, well you get the idea. The answer is… drum roll please… Mag Tags. Never heard of them? Well then, you’re in for a treat.
Here at ABM Headquarters, we love the month of March. Not only because winter is almost over but because it also signifies the start of March Madness, the annual NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Every year we like to do our own hat tip to the tournament and begin our own March Magnets! This year we are doing a blog series on the different types of button making magnets we offer and how you can use them.
At American Button Machines we understand you work hard for your money and we’re all striving to find the best value for our dollars. The most frequent requests we get are for discount offers & promo codes to help defray the costs of button making. We’ve been searching for a way to make this happen and feel we have finally hit upon the right answer.
We are proud to announce, and know you are going to love, our new My ABM Rewards Program. Beginning with your very next purchase, each order you make online will tally a reward totaling 2% of the purchase price which you can use as a discount on a future transaction.
We find ourselves with an unusual situation today in that we have come into possession of a slightly used 2.25” button machine. As you know, our button machines are beyond sturdy. We even replaced some parts to make sure it is in tip-top shape.
We’ve been throwing around ideas of what to do with said machine and decided to have a contest to GIVE IT AWAY – FOR FREE!
All you have to do is like us on Facebook. If we reach 1500 Facebook likes within the next 60 days, we’ll pick a name at random from our “likers”, and that person wins. It’s that easy. If you already like us on Facebook, and want even more chances to win, then you can also like us on Google + and/or post a Google comment or review and we’ll put your name in twice or even three times. (Once more for the like and another for the review.)
So, talk about us on Facebook and Google. Share our information with your friends so they can like us too and we reach that all important 1500. We want someone to win and there’s no reason that someone can’t be YOU!
Until next time, Happy Button Making!
